Contest Details:
A-This
contest is open to the first 200 members of AIC-ON who subscribe
to the GeoWarehouse MultiProperty Search Application. Submit
an expression of interest NOW and
your name will be included in this contest. (providing that
you subscribe to the program by the end of the pilot -Oct
21, 2011).
Prizes:
Apple iPad (donated by Teranet)
$450 credit towards a CPD course of your choice offered by
AIC-ON
$250 credit towards a CPD course of your choice offered by
AIC-ON
$100 gift certificate
Rules:
1. Must be a member in good standing of AIC
2. Must have submitted a subscription form with payment details

Q.
What are the payment options available to me once I purchase
a subscription?
Payment
Options:
1.
Payment may be made to AIC-ON by cheque or credit card. Visa
and MasterCard are accepted
2. ALL Credit card payments will be subject to a 2% processing
fee
3. Payments may be made on a quarterly basis by submitting
four post dated cheques or credit card number. Quarterly payments
will be subject to an annual management fee of $60. Members
paying on a quarterly basis are responsible for the full annual
fee.
4. NSF cheques will be subject to a fee of $45.00

Q.
What if I am already a current GeoWarehouse subscriber?
A. If you have previously purchased a 2011/2012 GeoWarehouse
subscription then your GeoWarehouse subscription
will be transitioned to the new annual GeoWarehouse MPS licence
and the prepaid fee will be prorated accordingly.

Q. What if I am a Realtor in addition to being an Appraiser?
A. If you are a Realtor you need to be aware of two
things:
i) The terms
and conditions of the Real Estate Board (“REB”)
sublicence and the GeoWarehouse
terms of use clearly identify that you cannot use the GeoWarehouse
REB version if you are primarily an appraiser or if you use
the REB version
for property valuation purposes. Your primary commercial activity
must be that
of a Realtor and you can only use the REB version of GeoWarehouse
for doing research for the acquisition and disposition of
land, and for
no other purposes whatsoever (including property valuation).
ii) The GeoWarehouse MPS provides you with the required rights
to use the application
data to perform property valuation services for your clients.

Q.
How will I access the pilot application of the new GeoWarehouse
MPS?
A. Each fee-appraiser will be receiving an e-mail from Teranet
in mid-September that includes: a pilot application, user id
and password. Once the pilot is launched on September 26th,
you will be able to log on to www.geowarehouse.ca/gwhweb and
access the application for testing purposes.

Q.
When can I sign up to purchase a subscription of the full
version of the new GeoWarehouse MPS?
A.
a). You will be able to communicate your intent to
purchase a subscription of the new GeoWarehouse MPS
starting immediately after the launch of the pilot. There
is a link to the “Expression
of Interest” form in the news section of the website
www.oaaic.on.ca. Your
commitment to AIC-ON to subscribe is important in order to
reach the required enrolment levels for the discounted fee
structure to be activated. The subscription term for the GeoWarehouse
MPS will be November 1st 2011 through to
October 31st, 2012.
b.) In
the event that the required subscription levels are not reached
by AIC-ON for group enrollment discounts, you will be able
to purchase an individual subscription to the GeoWarehouse
MPS – licensing details for individual license sales
are still being finalized.
Q. What if I have
a problem accessing the pilot application or have a question
or issue while accessing the pilot application?
A.You will be able to
call our Customer Service team at

a representative will be happy to assist you with your query

Q. What
if I have purchased additional data services from MPAC for
their MPS data service, will my purchase be credited for a
portion of these services already consumed if I purchase the
new GeoWarehouse Multi Property Search application?
A. All of our PropertyLine MPS clients pay
monthly (with the exception of 1). Once you subscribe to the
application you can notify your representative to cancel their
subscription.

to AIC members who are classified as fee appraisers, or candidates
working for fee appraisers, that are employed by firms providing
fee appraisal services.
Please
note that financial institutions, government
organizations, crown corporations or similar not- for- profit
organizations are not eligible to participate in the pilot
or the AIC discounted pricing offer. |
