The Ontario Association of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (OA-AIC), is the largest and best-known organization of real estate appraisers, valuators and property consultants in Ontario. Real estate appraisers hold the designations: AACI, P.App (Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute) and CRA, (Canadian Residential Appraiser) as awarded by the Appraisal Institute of Canada. The designations mean that the member has met the highest professional industry standards in Canada.
Their work in valuation and consulting is recognized by business, courts and governments.
The Ontario Association helps the public find designated appraisers for residential, commercial, industrial and investment type properties and helps people interested in learning more about real estate appraisal and the property valuation profession. The Ontario Association works in cooperation with the Appraisal Institute of Canada to provide various services to the members of both organizations.
We provide courses and seminars in real estate appraisals and professional development for existing appraisers.
